Swan Lane Project

The Swan Lane project presented an ambitious and elegant challenge, encompassing the design and installation of three staircases connecting the main floor to the third level, along with exterior railings. The staircases featured the Seattle monobeam model, finished in an exquisite Urban Black, and were complemented by floating steps crafted from 1-3/4″ solid red oak, creating a harmonious blend of strength and refinement. The glass railings were meticulously designed using 12mm tempered glass, securely fastened with stainless steel standoffs, and complemented by a sleek stainless steel handrail. This combination of materials elevated the overall aesthetic, creating a perfect balance between modern sophistication and timeless elegance.

One of the most intricate challenges we encountered was the limited space on the third floor, where we were confined to a narrow 3′ x 11′ area. Our goal was to maximize every inch of the space while maintaining elegance and functionality. Through careful design and the use of winder stairs in key sections, we were able to increase the usable space from 3′ to 6′. This solution not only enhanced the spatial flow but also brought a sense of openness and fluidity, demonstrating our expertise in marrying form with function to create a truly bespoke solution.
